B&E(Residential) – Ambleside Area

  • Break-in discovered by associate checking residence for homeowners overseas
  • Suspects entered by smashing through upper floor balcony window
  • Investigators believe ladder used to access upper floors
  • Multiple rooms ransacked

B&E(Residential) – Dundarave Area

  • Late report. Ground floor window broken to gain entry
  • Suspects fled prior to notification of police

B&E(Attempt) – Eagle Harbour Area

  • Alarm call at residence. Police attendance cancelled at homeowner request
  • Pry marks subsequently discovered on two entry doors.
  • Investigation ongoing

B&E(Construction Site – Residential) – British Properties Eyremount Area

  • Suspect or suspects entered site in early stages of home construction
  • Storage shed & vehicle parked on site broken into
  • Tools & equipment stolen

THEFT

Theft (Shoplifting) – Taylor Way / Marine Drive Area

  • Report of three male suspects stealing large amounts of merchandise from sport/outdoor clothing retailer
  • Patrol members responded, engaged in foot pursuit resulting in arrest of all suspects
  • All merchandise recovered.
  • Theft & Assault Police Officer charges being recommended

  • One from Marine Drive / Capilano Road Area
  • One report involving Theft Over $5000

Theft of Auto – Eagle Harbour Area

  • Vehicle stolen from driveway during overnight hours

Theft From Auto – Altamont / West Bay Area

  • Roof rack stolen off auto parked in residential driveway

ASSAULT

Assault/Threats – Horseshoe Bay Area

  • Suspect allegedly threatened other individual with screwdriver in dispute over parking space
  • Officers attended, obtained independent video of event. Suspect arrested
