EXPERIENCE FROM CONFIDENCE

We believe that the right training makes all the difference. We have invested in state-of-the-art training tools, such as VIRTRA, a virtual training simulator, to ensure our officers are equipped to deal with any situation. Our instructors are nationally and internationally accredited and are constantly evaluating best practices. We are open to change, and we encourage collaboration and discussion with our officers when it comes to their training and professional growth.

STRONGER TOGETHER

Through a multitude of professional resources, Critical Incident Stress Management and Peer Support programs, we approach health and wellness holistically where total health is addressed through a perspective of resilience at the individual level.

“We strive to hire people who are focused on community based policing and who want to make a meaningful difference for the people who live and work in West Vancouver.”

- JOHN LO, CHIEF CONSTABLE

SERVING OUR COMMUNITIES WITH HONOUR AND RESPECT

Our Mission, Excellence in Response and Investigation for a safe West Vancouver, is all about making the right choices in the present, so that our future community is united and safe, a place where younger generations can thrive. We recognize that a strong connection with our community is essential, and we know that without their support, we will not be successful in our mission.
