North Shore Black Bear Society

The North Shore Black Bear Society is a non-profit organization, which aims to reduce human-bear encounters through education, to reduce bear deaths and promote responsible coexistence. We work in partnership with local and regional governments.

North Shore Emergency Management

NSEM is an inter-municipal agency that has provided emergency management services for the North Shore since 1978. NSEM’s mission is to serve and support the North Shore municipalities and citizens in preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies and disasters.
