Counterfeit Prevention
A report this week from a restaurant in the West District of customers paying for a large tab with cash, later found to have been counterfeit. With ongoing adoption of electronic payment options, counterfeit currency reports in West Vancouver have become less frequent, however, we encourage businesses to review counterfeit prevention with staff. We are sharing links below this week to Bank of Canada information on Counterfeit money.
