Welcome to West Vancouver Police Business Watch Prevention Updates.

Our latest Crime Alerts  for the week are available through the Business Watch page at WestVanPolice.ca.

Here we update current & emerging crime trends impacting businesses in West Vancouver. We also offer information on prevention & investigation initiatives by our Patrol officers, plainclothes Target Team and Major Investigations Team.

Our officers have responded to 303 calls for service since our June 28th update.  In business related calls, 12 Shoplifting reports were received over the past week.  One report was from the Ambleside Business District. All other reports were from merchants in the Taylor Way/Marine Drive area.

Please don’t hesitate to contact West Vancouver Police if an offence has occurred at your business.  Reports can be made by phone. Call 9-1-1 in an emergency including any crime in progress involving injury or risk of injury.  Call 604-925-7300 for a non-emergency response.

Need to stay focused on customers during a busy day? You can also make a non-emergency report online at https://westvanpolice.ca/report-a-crime/. An officer will respond to your online report within 24 hours of submitting it.
