B&E(Residential) – Dundarave / Nelson Ave Area

  • Upper floor sliding glass door smashed to enter home while residents away
  • Suspects used ladder found on site to access upper floor.
  • No alarm triggered

B&E Residential – Dundarave / Nelson Ave Area

  • Vacant home. Neighbour noted smashed upper floor glass balcony door
  • No alarm triggered. Break in confirmed by attending officers

B&E(Multi-Unit Residential) – Ambleside Area

  • Resident heard glass breaking & noise from from neighbouring suite
  • Break-in confirmed & reported to police
  • Suspects had fled on officers arrival. Investigation ongoing

B&E(Multi Unit Residential) – Ambleside Area

  • Break in to storage lockers, mailboxes & laundry room of multi-unit building
  • Access to building possibly due to side door being left propped open

B&E(Residential Construction Site) – Caulfeild Area

  • Forced entry through basement door of home under construction
  • Tools & equipment stolen

B&E(Multi-Unit Residential) – Taylor Way/Marine Drive Area

  • Suite door in multi-unit building pried open. No alarm triggered
  • No items appeared disturbed or stolen

ASSAULT

Assault – Ambleside/John Lawson Park Area

  • Verbal dispute led to suspect punching victim through open window of vehicle
  • Suspect fled area in vehicle
  • Suspect subsequently identified & arrested in North Vancouver

THEFT

Thefts from Auto – Taylor Way / Marine Drive Area

  • Two separate reports. Windows smashed on vehicles in retail area parking
  • Personal bags, ID, clothing, camera & personal electronic equipment

Theft – Shoplifting – Summary

  • 12 Reports Since Last Update
  • 10 from Marine Drive/Taylor Way Area. Two from Caulfeild area

Theft – Cypress Mountain

  • Snowboard, gloves, jacket & other accessories stolen when left unattended at mountain lodge

MISCHIEF

Mischief (Attempt Theft) – Gleneagles / Horseshoe Bay Area

  • Windows smashed on vehicle at trailhead parking area
  • Nothing stolen
