Thefts

A series of Thefts over the past week highlight the need for attention to crime prevention basics.  Officers are actively investigating several Theft from Auto offences in which suspects entered unlocked vehicles, found garage door openers, and used the door openers to commit Break-ins at the related homes.  We urge you to ensure you are not leaving any valuable items in an unattended vehicle, whether it is locked or not. It is especially important that you not leave door openers or keys for you home unsecured.

BC Emergency Support Services Program Logo

The rains of the past weeks have been good news, but along with North Shore Emergency Management, we encourage you to consider another option available to ensure you are prepared for emergencies.  This includes the risks of wildfires, especially in urban/forest interface areas across the North Shore.  You can be prepared now for possible emergency by self registering on-line for Emergency Support Services.

Alertable is free to download for iOS & Android smartphones.  Take steps now with your neighbours to review your own risk & preparations!
