• Suite in multi-unit building accidentally left unlocked while resident away
• Upon return, several rooms found to have been rummaged
• Jewelry, camera, personal computers reported stolen

Theft of Bicycle – Dundarave Area

• Suspect posed as prospective buyer for e-bike advertised on line for sale
• Seller allowed suspect to take a test ride. Suspect failed to return
• Bike equipped with tracking chip. Recovered later by Police in Vancouver

• Loss prevention officer promptly reported theft in progress
• Information from LPO helped officers quickly find suspect at nearby transit stop
• Known prolific offender arrested without incident & held for court

• Suspect posing as bank staff member contacted victim by phone
• Victim complied with request to give suspect access to online banking
• Victim then noted funds moving in unauthorized transfer
• Victim realized fraud & contacted bank by separate phone before transfer completed

Fraud – Email

• Victim received email from suspect posing as work supervisor
• Suspect email requested victim purchase gift cards for urgent work function
• Victim complied with request to send gift card details by email
• Victim then noted email address did not match supervisors
