Officers have responded to 242 calls for service since our January 23rd update.
Construction Site Break-ins
Crime Alerts this week include another construction site break-in. A residential construction site in the Greenwood/Millstream area of the British Properties was targeted. Thieves appear to have entered through an unsecured gate in site fencing. Tools & equipment were stolen. We encourage all site managers to review security of construction sites.
Theft
10 Shoplifting reports have been received in West Vancouver since our January 22nd update. All were from the Marine Drive / Taylor Way area. With the assistance of Loss Prevention Staff suspects have been identified and arrested in six reports.
Online Reporting
Need to stay focused on customers during a busy day? It is important for police to have all offences reported, but we understand calls to police & follow-up attendance can impact your business continuity. We encourage you to report all offences at your business and remind you that Non-emergency reports can be made online at https://westvanpolice.ca/report-a-crime/. An officer will respond to your online report within 24 hours of submitting it.
