West Vancouver, B.C. – Early morning threat has led to a significant police response
West Vancouver Police were notified early this morning of a potential threat to West Vancouver Secondary School. The few students and staff that were onsite have been evacuated and officers are continuing to clear the building.
The school has reached out to the parents and have asked students to stay home from school at this time. “We ask that members of the public would avoid the area and follow police instructions,” said Suzanne Birch, spokesperson for the West Vancouver Police Department. “Neighbours can expect can increased police presence throughout the day”.
