West Vancouver Police Take the Plunge for Special Olympics BC

West Vancouver, B.C.West Vancouver Police invite the community to join us in raising funds to support athletes with intellectual disabilities

The West Vancouver Police Department invites residents to participate in the North Shore Polar Plunge on Wednesday, March 4th, at 10:00 a.m. The event will be held at Ambleside Beach, 1000 Argyle Ave., West Vancouver.

We encourage people to join the fun by registering, securing pledges, and taking the icy plunge alongside our dedicated officers and civilian staff! Those who wish to support the cause while remaining warm can come down to cheer them on or make a donation here: bit.ly/wv-police-so

This event is presented in partnership with the Law Enforcement Torch Run® (LETR) for Special Olympics BC, continuing a vital annual tradition across the globe. Funds generated through the Polar Plunge directly sustain Special Olympics BC’s year-round sport, youth, and health programs. For many athletes with intellectual disabilities, these programs provide a crucial platform for meaningful social engagement, healthy physical activity, and opportunities to be celebrated for their accomplishments.
