In recognition of the tragic events that occurred yesterday in Horseshoe Bay, The West Vancouver Police Department again extends sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the young boy who tragically lost his life, and to the two women who were injured. We recognize that this incident has had a profound impact on many in our community—particularly those who witnessed the event or were close to the child and his family.
We want to assure the community that support services are available to help navigate the difficult days ahead. In coordination with local agencies, the following resources are accessible for those in need of assistance:
