THEFT

Theft of Auto – Taylor Way / Marine Drive Area

● Check of vehicle resulted in arrest of suspect for possession of vehicle without owner’s consent

Theft of Auto – Eastcot Area

● Rear window of vehicle on residential street broken. Sunglasses, toiletries, designer trenchcoat stolen Check of vehicle resulted in arrest of suspect for possession of vehicle without owner’s consent

Theft – Cypress Mountain

● Snowboard left unsecured on day lodge racks stolen

Thefts of Mail – British Properties – Southborough/Millstream/Groveland Area

● Three separate reports. Residential mailboxes found pried open.

● Unknown what mail items stolen

FRAUD

Fraud(Employment Scam) – British Properties

● Resident responded to online employment offer. Received cheque & requested to forwarded gift card to a ‘Client’.

● Cheque found to be fraudulent. Funds forwarded by gift card unrecoverable

Fraud(Grandparent Scam) – British Properties

● Resident contacted by suspect claiming their grandson had been arrested in needed emergency funds. ● Scam recognized. Call disconnected. No funds lost
