Thefts

Please remain alert to any suspicious activity or persons in your neighbourhood.  Our Crime Alerts this week include a surge of thefts, theft attempts, and a Theft of Vehicle in the upper Dundarave area just below the highway. An unsecured vehicle was stolen from a residential drive. Two thefts from vehicles and two attempted thefts from vehicles were reported.  All reports involved vehicles left unsecured with valuables inside.

Grad Season Continues

299 calls for police service in West Vancouver over the past week continues an annual trend upward as the end of the school year arrives. We wish all 2025 Grads a happy & safe celebration. The approach of summer can also bring an increase in disturbance related behaviours in neighbourhoods, parks & public areas.  Please don’t hesitate to call West Vancouver Police if you’re concerned about any large gatherings involving excessive noise, liquor act violations or property damage.

Summer & Wildfire Dangers Preparation

A wildfire related State of Emergency declared this week in Squamish, highlights the need to be personally prepared for the possibility of wildfires in our region, particularly in the urban/forest interface areas across the North Shore. Please take steps now with your loved ones and neighbours to review your own risk & preparations!
