● Food, clothing & outdoor equipment stolen

THEFT

Theft From Auto – Irwin Park Area

● Rear passenger side window smashed on vehicle in residential driveway

● Low value bag & contents stolen

Theft From Auto – Ambleside Business District

● Rear passenger side window smashed on vehicle parked on street

● Bag containing wallet, cash & ID stolen

Theft(On-Line Marketplace) – Caulfeild Area

● Residents met prospective purchasers for designer bag advertised on social media marketplace

● During attempt to process payment, suspects grabbed bag & drove away

MISCHIEF

Mischief – Ambleside Business District

● Holes cut in door glass at business front consistent with use of glass cutter

● Nothing stolen

Mischief (Glass Breaks) – Cedardale & West Bay

● Separate reports of rocks thrown through residential windows

FRAUD

Fraud (Lottery Scam) – Dundarave

● Phone call from suspect advising resident had won a major US magazine sponsored lottery prize

● Scam recognized when caller began seeking banking information. Call disconnected. No loss

Fraud (Grandparent Scam) – Folkestone

● Phone call from suspect advising resident’s grandson had been arrested & needed cash for bail/lawyers fees

● Scam recognized. No loss incurred
