The Property Office receives and stores all public property that comes into the possession of the West Vancouver Police Department. This consists of evidence exhibits, safekeeping articles or simply found items. When all investigative and judicial processes are concluded, the property is returned to the lawful owner or disposed of as per departmental procedure.
Prior arrangements must be made with the Property Office for the return of all property.

No. Contact West Vancouver Police first. The Property Custodian is the only person that has access to the property/evidence/exhibit lockers and needs to remove your property from the locker and get it ready for you to pick up. Contact the Property Custodian either by email or phone. Be sure to include your name, contact information and a brief description of your property. You will be contacted when it’s ready for pickup. Possibly. Items such as wallets, cell phones, purses etc. that are turned in to West Vancouver Police and are not part of an investigation are often placed in a temporary locker and available for pick up without making arrangements through the Property Custodian. Contact West Vancouver Police first to see if your property is available for pickup. 604-925-7300
