Motorcyclist Killed in Single Vehicle Collision

West Vancouver, B.C. – A late-night single-vehicle crash results in the death of one motorcyclist.

Last night at approximately 11:23 p.m., three motorcyclists were travelling westbound in the 5500 block of Marine Drive when the lead rider was involved in a single-vehicle incident. BC Emergency Health Services, the West Vancouver Fire Department, and the West Vancouver Police Department attended the scene and assisted the victim for approximately 45 minutes. Unfortunately, the rider could not be saved and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) has been called in to assist with the investigation.

West Vancouver Police Department extends our deepest condolences to the family and friends of those impacted.
