West Vancouver - Person of Interest Identified; no criminal offence occurred. WVPD has made contact with the individual shown in the Park Royal security footage, and he has fully cooperated with this investigation. We have concluded that no needle was used, and no criminal offence occurred. Officers have informed impacted parties.
West Vancouver – The 30-year-old male who was reported missing and last seen in West Vancouver on November 25th, 2023, has sadly been found deceased by an RCMP dive team.
West Vancouver – West Vancouver Police are asking the public for assistance in identifying four individuals who were captured on CCTV leaving the area of an Arson at Tyee Point on September 21st, 2023.
West Vancouver – Charges will be recommended against a 28 year old female from North Vancouver after four officers were assaulted.
On November 22nd, 2023, Alexandra Georgson, 29, of Fernie BC, was charged with five counts of Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle causing bodily harm. Mrs Georgson will appear in court on December 13th, 2023. As this matter is now before the courts, Police will not make any further comments regarding the details of this incident.

West Vancouver – West Vancouver Police are reminding the public to ensure diligence when hiring a care aid. This comes after 51-year-old Rubina Walji, of Surrey, was charged with breaching her conditions not engage in work as a caregiver.
West Vancouver – The West Vancouver Police received an award from Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD) for taking the most impaired drivers off the road (per capita) in the Metro Vancouver region in 2022.
West Vancouver – Charges have been laid after a series of assaults on a West Vancouver Transit bus and a nearby residence.
West Vancouver – On September 19th, 2023, West Vancouver Police responded to a call of multiple assaults on a West Vancouver Transit Bus in the 5700 block of Marine Dr.
