Break & Enter
Even a small opportunity can be all offenders need. Residents of a home in the Woodgreen area returned from several days away to discover a break-in at their home. Suspects entered through a basement window left partially open. Thieves stole copper piping from the home.
If you’re going to be away, please ensure your property is secure, with any alarm or security systems checked and active.
Theft
An unsecured vehicle in an Ambleside multi-unit residential parkade also provided an unfortunately easy theft opportunity over the past week. The vehicle was being stored long term. Keys were left in the centre console. We urge all residents to review how they store vehicles or any personal possessions.
