● Alarm triggered at residence. Officers arrived at scene approximately 5 minutes from Dispatch
● Suspects had fled. Entry through living room door. No indication of any property stolen
THEFT
Theft of Auto(Recovered) – Taylor Way/Marine Drive Area
● Officers conducting proactive patrols noted suspicious vehicle subsequently confirmed as stolen in Sea to Sky corridor
● Two suspects subsequently returned to vehicle & were taken into custody without incident

FRAUD
Fraud – Sandy Cove Area
● Resident contacted by email, suspect posing as her boss, requesting purchase & forwarding of multiple gift cards for staff appreciation event
● Scam not realized until after cards forwarded
Fraud – West Bay Area
● Resident contacted online by suspect claiming to represent Cryptocurrency investment opportunity
● Funds transferred to suspect who then ceased all contact with victim
Fraud – Cedardale
● Resident received phone call from suspect claiming to be staff at their personal bank asking to transfer funds for security purposes
● Scam only recognized after funds lost
