Crime Alerts
Grateful to have a relatively short Crime Alerts package to share this week of highlighted property offences over the days including the long weekend. Please remain vigilant in your neighbourhoods to any suspicious activity.
The warmer weather can be expected to bring increasing numbers of pedestrians & cyclists, and vehicles enroute to outdoor activities. Please take care on the roads.
Offences this past week included thefts, in which leaving valuables in unattended vehicles, or unsecured on home properties played a role in creating opportunities for offenders.
Mail Theft
An additional report of Mail Theft this week, leading to Fraud offences. A resident in the Chartwell area, discovered thieves had stolen a new credit card being mailed to them, when unauthorized charges began to appear on the card. We urge you to check and clear your mailbox on any day delivery can be expected.
